Welcome to the CHET (Careers and Higher Education Team) at Westfields International School!

The CHET (Careers and Higher Education Team) at Westfields International School is dedicated to guiding students through their academic and career pathways. Our mission is to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to make informed decisions about their futures.

Overview of the CHET Program:

  • Comprehensive Career Guidance: The CHET team provides personalized career counseling to help students identify their interests, strengths, and potential career paths. We offer one-on-one meetings and workshops to discuss options and set achievable goals.
  • Higher Education Support: Our team assists students in navigating the higher education landscape, including guidance on college and university applications, scholarship opportunities, and financial aid resources. We aim to make the transition to higher education smooth and successful.
  • University Fairs and Visits: CHET organizes university fairs and campus visits, allowing students to interact with representatives from various institutions. These events provide valuable insights into different programs and help students make informed choices about their education.
  • Unifrog Platform: We utilize the Unifrog platform to help students explore their options for further education and careers. Unifrog provides a comprehensive resource for researching universities, courses, and apprenticeships, enabling students to make informed decisions.
  • Career Exploration Activities: We offer various activities that allow students to explore different careers, including job shadowing, internships, and guest speaker sessions. These experiences help students gain a deeper understanding of various professions and industries.

Workshops and Seminars: The CHET team hosts workshops on essential skills such as resume writing, interview preparation, and networking. These sessions equip students with the tools they need to succeed in the job market and higher education.
